Terms & Policies

Terms, payment, privacy, and service policies for TCS Repair.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Overview

TCS Repair provides on-site and remote technology support for homeowners and small businesses. This page explains how payments, late charges, returns, privacy, and related policies work.

If we can't fix it, we won't charge you for the repair attempt described at the time of service, subject to the terms below.

Agreement to these policies

These policies apply to all work TCS Repair performs for you. By asking TCS Repair to perform work, whether by phone, text, email, in person, or online, or by authorizing or accepting work, you agree to these policies, including the Payment Terms and Late Charges below. They apply to that work and to any later work you request, unless a separate written agreement you accepted says otherwise.

Visiting this website or contacting TCS Repair with a question, without asking for work, does not by itself create an obligation to pay.

Payment Terms and Late Charges

This section is TCS Repair's authoritative payment and late-charge policy. It sets the standard payment terms for all clients and reflects how TCS Repair has long handled payments and overdue balances. Other pages on this website summarize it and link here. If a summary differs from this section, this section controls.

When payment is due

  • Payment is due as stated on the applicable invoice or in the written agreement you accepted, such as an estimate, proposal, or support agreement. This includes labor, parts, and third-party services ordered on your behalf.
  • Invoices may be sent by email. Please keep your contact information current so bills and reminders reach you.

Payment methods and card fees

  • We accept payment methods discussed at the time of service, including checks mailed to the address shown on your invoice.
  • A 5.35% fee is added to payments made by credit card. It does not apply to debit cards or checks.
  • Sales tax, where it applies, is separate from the credit card fee. If an invoice includes both, together they may come to 12.35% (7% Indiana sales tax plus the 5.35% credit card fee). They are two separate charges, not one 12.35% fee.

Late charges on overdue balances

A balance is overdue if any part of it remains unpaid after its due date. Where applicable law permits, TCS Repair may assess a late charge of 10% per month, compounded monthly, on an overdue balance.

How the late charge works

  • One monthly charge. The late charge is a single charge of 10% per month. It is not two separate charges, such as a 10% late fee plus 10% interest, and no more than one late charge is assessed for any monthly period.
  • What each charge is based on. Each monthly late charge is calculated on the unpaid balance on the date it is assessed, including any earlier late charges that remain unpaid.
  • Payments, credits, and waivers reduce later charges. Payments, credits, and waived charges reduce the balance used to calculate later late charges.
  • Timing. The first late charge may be assessed once the due date passes under the payment terms on your invoice or written agreement, such as due on receipt, Net 7, or Net 30. Later charges may be assessed each month after that while any part of the balance remains overdue.
  • Scope. Late charges are assessed only on overdue amounts for labor, parts, and third-party services already provided.

Example (illustration only; assumes no payments, credits, or waived charges): A $100 overdue balance becomes $110 after the first monthly assessment. If it remains entirely unpaid, the next assessment is $11, bringing the balance to $121.

Waivers, legal limits, and your written terms

  • TCS Repair may reduce or waive any particular late charge at its discretion. Reducing or waiving a charge applies only to that charge. It does not waive any other charge or TCS Repair's right to assess late charges in the future.
  • TCS Repair will not assess or collect a late charge, or any part of one, that applicable law does not allow. If the law sets a lower limit, that limit applies. If the law does not allow a late charge on a particular account, none applies.
  • If written terms you accepted for your account, such as a support agreement, differ from this section, those terms govern.

Returns and refunds

  • All sales are final. We do not offer exchanges or refunds, except where the law requires them or a supplier return policy applies to a part.
  • If we made a mistake or did not deliver the service we agreed to, contact us and we will work with you to make it right.
  • Parts and equipment may be subject to supplier return policies, restocking fees, or non-returnable status once ordered or installed. We will explain return options before ordering special-order items when possible.
  • If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us promptly so we can review the invoice with you.

Canceled or rescheduled appointments

Please contact us as soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule. We will work with you to find a new time that fits.

Changes to these policies
